It was not Muslims that had made Islam great; it was Islam that had made the Muslims great
Everybody wants their prayers answered on time but the thing is, nobody want to pray on time !!!
Whenever Allah gives a blessing to a servant, and then takes it back from him, and the servant patiently endures his loss, then He rewards him with a blessing which is better than the one which He took back.
When we are born, the Adhan is given but there is no Prayer. When we die, there is a Prayer with no Adhan. That’s because the Adhan of our birth belongs to the Prayer of our death. And that’s how short life is
If you want to talk to Allah, perform Salah. If you want Allah to talk to you, read Quran.!
Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you’re a vegetarian. … !!
This world in comparison with the world to come, is the same as if one of you were to put his finger in the ocean. Consider how much you would have when you pulled it out.
The relation of patience to iman is like the relation of the head to the body. If the head is chopped off, the body becomes useless. Then he raised his voice and said: Certainly, the one who has no patience has no iman, and patience is like a riding-beast that never gets tired..
You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you’re going to live, Now…!!
If you take one step towards Allah, he will take two towards you. If you come to Him walking, He will come to you running.!
How often it is that a small action becomes great by its intention. And how often it is that a great action becomes small by its intention.
Fight against your ego with the four swords of training:
eat little,
sleep little,
speak little,
and be patient when people harm you…
Then the ego will walk the paths of obedience, like a fleeing horseman in the field of battle..
The life of this world and the hereafter, in the heart of a person are like the two scales of a balance, when one becomes heavier, the other becomes lighter
Patience is of two kinds: patience over what pains you,
and patience against what you covet (desire)!
A friend cannot be considered a friend until he is tested in three occasions: in time of need, behind your back, and after your death.
Don’t cry because of the hardships of this life. Cry for the forgiveness of Allah. Don’t feel sad for Allah is with the believer who calls His name. He loves the believer who runs to Him when faced with struggles. And that day is coming, where He will give much comfort to those who struggled for His sake” .
